I think the sounds they make needs to be smoother, and more controllable. Feels as if even though they are creating music, its still not up to par with other instruments where the artist has more control. Practice makes perfect too, a more fine tuned instrument plus experience goes a long way. Either way, very cool and unique nonetheless.
That's a fair point. I wonder what sound parameters they actually have control over (and how they're doing it)... I believe there's a blog somewhere on how they built this instrument - I'll see if I can find it.
