Outrage over toilet brush used to clean cups at Chinese hotel
Horrifying unsanitary practices at a restaurant and luxury hotels in China, including customers’ cups being cleaned with a toilet brush, have sparked an outcry in the nation after video evidence went viral. According to Chinese media, the scandal first erupted when footage taken secretly at three hotels in Harbin, in northeastern China's Heilongjiang province, was posted on the Internet and shared widely at the end of December.

Always wash the hotel cups/glasses before using them. Do not assume they have been cleaned properly.
I would even go one step further and just bring my own cups if there was even a slight chance that someone would be washing the stuff I drink out of with a toilet brush.
Same here. What is wrong with people that they think this is ok? Someone should do this to them and see how they like it!
