Lenovo slapped with lawsuit over dangerous Superfish adware
Lenovo admitted to pre-loading the Superfish adware on some consumer PCs, and unhappy customers are now dragging the company to court on the matter. A proposed class-action suit was filed late last week against Lenovo and Superfish, which charges both companies with “fraudulent” business practices and of making Lenovo PCs vulnerable to malware and malicious attacks by pre-loading the adware.

That didn't take long.
Lenovo should be forced to provide all owners of the known models with a clean copy of OEM windows.
Or a Linux distro if they prefer.

Yep, they definitely deserve it.
Good to hear! I really hope it teaches other PC makers not to bundle shitty spyware on new PCs.
If anything can teach a company something, its a lawsuit.
