Funny how the US "authorities" don't like the idea of American companies actually having to pay taxes. I wonder who control those authorities.
I think it's more of a we want that money, so don't let the EU take our money. I wonder what the effective tax rate will end up being in the long run, and who sets that., Ireland or Brussels.
Guess the Europeans have outsmarted the Americans then.
Apple will mostly just close up shop and leave. They have more money than the US government,but of course,it's not enough. And they think they can just come into another country and tell them how things will be done. GRRRRR! Such unbounded greed and selfishness.
