The Walkman may have started the first portable music revolution, but the iPod began the second. It increasingly put thousands upon thousands of songs in your pocket, and made it so that no one ever had to leave behind a track from their library again. Damn, thats a bit of a kick in the gut. Its weird how times have changed. A little under 10 years ago, it would be crazy for me or my friends to walk around without our ipods. Nowadays, I've pretty much forgotten they exist. Now everything is on our phones.
Yep, I saw one of those old radioshack magazine ads from the 1990's and was blown away at how much stuff our cellphones actually have within them now. Its shocking how just 20 years of tech advancement does so much...
That VHS camcorder for $700. Damn...
And soon our wrists, and then on our faces... or the other way around.. man I don't know anymore.
Had the 2nd generation back in 2001 if I can recall correctly. Too bad I lost it many years ago.
I still have mine, barely use it however since I got everything I need on a phone.
