I just realized, English is not your first language, is it? Are you French? Or, Canadian maybe?

Oh! I only just now realized this comment was meant for me. I must've made a muddle of that comment up above for you to come to that conclusion! I'm from Park City, Utah, originally. You know, the Mormons only stopped at the Great Salt Lake because they thought with all that salt water that they'd reached the Pacific Ocean. They were a ways off. I've made a point of making it the rest of the way. How about you? From whence do you roam?

I live in the mountains of Northern California, originally from Phoenix.

"Are you happy to buy a new phone?"

It was that sentence that made me think you weren't a native English speaker. Just read that sentence in context with the rest of the comment and I think you will see what I mean. My bad, sorry.

No harm done. I’d’ve tried Republic Wireless or Project Fi if I hadn’t had to buy their phone. Sounds like their charges are in line, but at month’s end they credit you for the minutes, texts and data you didn’t use. So if you’re often in wifi range and barely use cell service it can be inexpensive.
