Badass Bitches Of History: Pirate Queen Grace O’Malley
Despite being half-Irish, I am not a big celebrator of St. Patrick's Day. I kinda figure that, well, if today is the day when everyone is Irish, then perhaps it is my turn to take the day off! Steampunk Black Beards Coat (wip)
Found an old leather jacket to use as Black Beards coat for my steampunk project. I had to sew gold skull and crossbones buttons on it because there were no buttons on it at all. I still want to add gold embellishments to the collar, gold dogear cuffs to the sleeves, and have someone spray paint Black Beards flag on the back. I still have to finish the mask, resew the sash with gold trim, and a heck of a lot of other tweaks. Pants, hat, and boots will have to be worked on also.
