A word on FOCUS: if your picture is really out of focus there is not a lot that can be done.

SCANNING: when scanning a photo, scan at the highest resolution possible for the best results. Scan where possible- photos of photos are not the best material to work with although we know that sometimes this is all that people have of some old photos so we will try our best.
