Bill & Ted 3: Face the Music, the long-awaited sequel to 1991’s Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, is entering production this summer and is due to be released in August next year. Details about the third entry in the comedy time-travelling series were announced on Twitter by its co-stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, who said “We want to say thank you to you the fans because it looks like we might, actually, hopefully, make a movie this summer.”

Now that Carol Danvers has been lighting up the globe for almost two weeks, she’s headed to the $800M mark worldwide. Disney/Marvel’s Captain Marvel has grossed $797M through Tuesday, including $519.3M at the international box office. With these scores, the Brie Larson-starrer has now surpassed Deadpool ($783M), Spider-Man 2 ($784M) and Deadpool 2 ($785M) to become the No. 18 global superhero pic of all time.

On Tuesday morning, Ryan Reynolds tweeted a photo of his R-rated character Deadpool on a school bus, sporting Mickey Mouse ears. "Feels like the first day of ‘Pool,'" Reynolds captioned the photo. Captain Marvel raced higher, further and/or faster over its second weekend, topping the global box office yet again and clearing a handful of milestones in the process. The MCU flick earned another $69.3 million in North America, a drop of 55% from its $153.4m debut frame. This is, quite frankly, a deeply boring result, as it’s neither a super-duper hold or a super-super drop.

The onslaught of negative Rotten Tomatoes reviews for Captain Marvel has seen the film plunge to the lowest-rating of all the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. Nearly two weeks ahead of its release, Captain Marvel currently has a 45% Audience Rating on Rotten Tomatoes. This is way below the next lowest MCU flick, 2008's The Incredible Hulk, which has a rating of 70%. Last week, online trolls who don't want the MCU's first female-led flick to succeed began filing fake and negative reviews in an attempt to purposefully lower the film's Audience Rating.

The shock of The Avengers: Infinity War's defeat is enough to shake the MCU's heroes, but at least Tony Stark knows this timeline is the one that eventually leads to victory over Thanos, as promised by Doctor Strange. But we have a theory that Doctor Strange's prophecy isn't what Iron Man or Marvel fans think. Especially since there's really only one future that would make sense for Doctor Strange to see... and he definitely wouldn't describe it to anybody.

The “Lucy with the football” game continues when it comes to David Fincher finally directing a big blockbuster tentpole. The Social Network filmmaker has flirted with big properties in years past ranging from Mission: Impossible 3 to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, none of which ever came to fruition. It appeared he’d finally be making the leap with World War Z 2, a zombie sequel that would reunite Fincher with...
