No1: Visit and entertain members of an old folks home specifically dressed as a pirate. Unfortunately due to work we couldn't entertain because visiting hours were over.
No 2: Re purpose and artichoke. You can drink out of a hollowed out artichoke but it does not taste good.
No 3: Corn husk Bikini.
No 4: Make a sock monkey hat out of your socks. She had a bunch of old socks just for the occasion and I commend her for getting in the tree.
No 5: That's our team. Good looking bunch especially that sexy older gentleman in the glasses (sooooo hot!).
No 6: Panda made from feminine hygiene products. She even made bamboo to go with it.
No 7: Panning for gold in a public fountain. That's no hillbilly that's my son! He spent the rest of the night dressed up like that and greeting strangers downtown.
No 8: Proof we did do GISHWHES.
Now there is video but I was told I can only show you mine because the cringe is reeeeaaaaalllllll! I will get on that. I just have to get them uploaded somewhere. Now of course because I have provided proof I expect some serious thought from the SNAPZU community about possibly creating a few teams to join in the fun next year. Meeting new people is fun, doing stupid things with them is great, helping your community is awesome, and making a fool of oneself is really not that bad. When everyone is a fool, no one is a fool. Oh, Hey look at that! Appaloosa not only made the short list of people who may have stolen my pork rinds and/or sandwiches but also the list for possible Snapzu GISHWHES team Captains.
GISHWHES runs from July 30th to August 6th each year. So you have to sign up your team by then. Teams are 15 people who do not have to share the same territory. So you can get an international team like we did. You compete for a grand prize which is a trip to somewhere with Misha Collins (a Grade B actor). Your duty is to complete a full list of insane actions to earn Gish points. The team with the overall mostest gish points wins. We know we didn't get enough to win but it was a lot of fun.
