The activity has skyrocketed, which is great! Not as many downvotes as I expected. Almost all the new folk are kind and many fresh members continue to welcome the zero-sec members. All-in-all I would have to say that I am very impressed with how well people have adapted to the snapzu culture. Looking forward to seeing more of you as this place grows.
I don't want to generalise but I feel that a lot of the 'Fat People Hate' crowd have gone en masse to Voat. The schism seems to have sent them careering one way and those who want something similar to the Reddit of 2007 here. I've missed the news, coding, occasional tech news and general community feel of what was 'Old Reddit', way before the 'Old Reddit' of recent complaints.
I've lurked on Snapzu for a while and only joined today but I like what I see. It's small scale, sensible and appears to actually be constructive instead of tiring. I know this isn't the answer to the question posed in the title but I just wanted to add my thoughts.

I'm very thankful to voat for that. It soaks up people who just want a pao-less reddit and make users join snapzu because they want snapzu's culture.
Agreed. I signed up for voat, not realizing that there was a lot of the hate speech that was making reddit so unpalatable.
