After trying a few social communities, I'm hanging my hat here
Hello all, I'm really enjoying the community here and the way its being operated. I've been here for a few days now and can real see the difference in operations from this site and a few other online communities (e.g. voat, Reddit).
This community's well thought out rules fix a lot of issues that I've seen (and personally had issues with) at similar websites and the invitation system ensures a sustainable growth which is really the "Make or break" moments for when people are feeling out other online communities.
At any rate, I hope I can add to Snapzu and am glad to have found this place.

It seems like a pretty cool place so far. I am missing some of the smaller reddit communities but I can split my time like a kid with divorced parents.

Its weird but this reminds me of holding my nephew for the first time. It is something new that I instantly love, but slightly terrified I'm going to break :)
Ha yea I agree this place definitely has that "new baby scent". It has a modern feel and I think the design is top notch (this is coming from a web designer). Looking forward to exploring some more.

Welcome! I feel the same way and also intend on settling down on Snapzu. I plan on contributing as much as I can to this community, and will work towards a high quality platform of free (but healthy) communication wherever I can.
I also checked out a few others (mostly empeopled as voat has been down every time I tried to go on it) and I've also settled here. Really nice site.
This place has some nice polish! I'm enjoying the differences from reddit. I wonder if an android app is on the horizon? That would cinch my taking up residence here.
There is, as I understand, an API in the works. When it is released people will be able to build mobile apps that hook into it.

I have been in the same boat as you as of this week and thus far I am loving it. It's a fresh start without an excess of garbage being re-re-re-posted as of yet. And thus far I'm loving snapzu
I love the place so far too! A lot less scary to post for me lol. Only thing I really can't wait for is a mobile app so I can browse when I'm at work.

Welcome to Snapzu! Totally agree with your post. Things seem more "put together" and organized compared to other sites. Hope that this place booms with activity.
