The world outside looks like a powdered doughnut!
We have snow in the south. Although snow is not a big deal in many places the South tends to freak out a bit. Car crashes, people wandering the streets muttering to themselves, and regularly nice people beating each other over the head for the last gallon of milk and a tin can of Dinty Moore Beef Stew. It's like the apocalypse but lame. So I called into work and told them I aint go out there with the crazies, grabbed my sabre, and I am now hunkered down making french toast for the family. If I don't survive please keep the dream alive Snapzu!
What are you all doing today? Do you want to build a snowman?

Welcome to my annual nightmare.

Well it's getting pretty bad here. We have about an inch or more on the ground. Traffic is bad, lots of accidents. Although the heat and electric is still on I have taken the precaution to break up some of the wooden furniture just in case we need heat. My wife's hutch, my wife's bookcase, my wife's rocking chair she used during our baby sons feedings, and the kitchen table my wanted so bad she thought she would die if she didn't have it are all in a neat pile of pieces on the living room floor just in case. We have about 4 cans of Tomato soup left, along with about 200 pounds of various meats, vegetables, dairy, and breads. I hope it lasts till morning or until help comes. The real kicker is I only have about 3/4 of a bottle of the good rum. Once that runs out we will be forced to drink whiskey, moonshine, gin, brandy, beer, and the bad rum. I would post pics of the snow but my cell phone only has 98% of it's power left and I need to save that in case of an emergency. I will be shutting it off now. Pray for us. If I die please bury me at sea with my sabre so I can fight the Spanish in hell.
Maybe the last words, Crookedtale.
Pour the moonshine on the furniture,it will start faster! :)
Good idea! (Wooooooosh)
