Been gone a bit.

Sorry I haven't been able to keep everyone supplied with classic jams of the 70's and 80's for a while. The truth is I had a run in with some bad drugs. Well not bad illegal drugs but the prescription kind. I fell in late January due to a patch of ice and a rambunctious dog during the fall I managed to bruise and crack a bunch of ribs. I tried to live through it for a few days but the pain was bad and I couldn't sleep at night. So I went to the doctor and received a prescription pain medicine and an anti-inflammatory. I am not a big prescription drug user and rely on Advil for pains and aches. After a few days of taken the medicine I found that I didn't really want to do anything. It was very hard to get motivated and get myself dressed and out of bed in the morning. Even simple things and things I enjoyed doing felt really forced. In fact a few time I had to force myself to do my sewing, and spend time with the fam, and go to work. Plus music was meh, seriously I would get on Snapzu with the intention to upload some music but it just seemed useless to me. My wife was even worried because I did not have any spirit left in me.

So I have been off the drugs for a week, I still have pain but the Advil helps. My mind is slowly getting back to it's crazy self again and expect a full recovery. I take this episode as a lesson in how drugs, prescription or not, can alter you in unpredictable ways. The pain I can take, the changes I cant.
