I couldn't understand people getting all worked up about stuff on Usenet 15 years ago (though I did have fun working them up) and still don't know how people get so upset by online stuff now. It all seems so pointless.
Oh, I'd guess as T_D makes themselves at home on Voat the pointlessness will begin to dawn on one and all.
I think the towering intellectual environment will put them off. Jumping into conversations like those takes real brainpower to keep up.
