I'm in for a weekend where the weather is forecast to be the coldest in 12 years, with damaging winds, snow, sleet and hail. Might skip the mountains but this is a great idea for when it warms up a little. Don't know where I'll find an old man though-just have to be lucky!
Oh, yeah, this is definitely a spring/summer/fall thing for me - probably shouldn't be driving too much in that kind of weather. As for the old man, he was on the side of an extremely remote road with a little dog on a leash and he looked distressed so I pulled over to ask if he was okay, and he started saying, "oh, thank you so much," and got in my car. I quickly texted my roommate my info in case I got murdered, but I ended up just taking him to the grocery store to pick up some food and then back to his home to be dropped off.
