Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.
It's funny this portion made it into this, I actually looked into what happened in that case, and the coffee was served scolding hot, and it was due to poor maintenance to equipment. If anyone thinks this suit was frivolous, I highly suggest doing some research.
