I agree with your analysis. I am not all that much older than the typical redditor (26yo) but I remember the big migration from Digg to Reddit, and I can appreciate a site that brings back more of the community and discussion aspects of a media aggregating website. I do hope the more positive, older redditors come here (and leave the pitchforks behind.)
