I wonder if it's a good idea to have a welcome email or webpage of sorts that states the rules of conduct during signup. (and maybe a general introduction to the xp/rep system)
Ah yes i remember that now. Maybe a click-trough webpage would be a better option forcing subscribers to read them since emails can be easily overlooked or ignored.
I agree. I think there should be a big, clear link to the rules and general site mission so everyone knows what's up. At the moment there is a bit of shuffling about required to find these things.
