First you need to reach a set of minimum requirements for your tribe in order for it to be accepted into the "category system", in other words your tribe needs to be accepted into the referral program by meeting the requirements I copied and pasted below:
1. Select and upload an appropriate tribe flag
2. Select and upload a suitable tribe banner
3. Fill out your tribe name
4. Reach a minimum of 20 (currently 0/20) content items posted within this tribe
Once your tribe is ready it needs to be validated and accepted. After that it's up to the admins to decide if your tribe should be listed in one of the main categories however it's made it to the selection pool so the busier the tribe the better the chance.
