I said similar on another suggestion to this but I think that any paid way to get XP kinda de-values it and opens it to gaming from spammers and really bad posters who could essentially buy their way out of a bad xp.

A Patreon style system would be better. Maybe rewards like extra exclusive profile backgrounds, a monthly "here's what we're doing with your money" newsletter or something?
