Site looks neat. Won't need RES for this one

You know what made me come here?

It's been 1 day since the blackout and almost everyone stopped talking about it. Front page is back on cats, dogs and pussies. Fuck that, nothing's gonna change and it's only gonna get worse.

    The only thing I'm missing is a Dark-Theme. That was a big reason why I used RES.

      I hear there is a Dark Theme for the Stylish extension on Chrome.

        The only thing I don't like about it the blue around the user avatars.

          Thanks a lot, this theme works rather well! I'd rather deal with a little blue around user avatars than have the blinding white of the old theme.

            That is my attitude. I have nearly every site I use in a darker mode, so Snapzu was blinding me every time I switched tabs.

            My eyes and I are friends, again.

          That should be an easy fix though:

          .comment .user .photo {
    background-color: rgb(51, 51, 51) !important;
}

.postComment .user .photo {
    background-color: rgb(34, 34, 34) !important;
}

          Feel free to improve/whatever, works fine for me. :-)

    Well, if this site grows in popularity, we'll get a SES. There a few features in RES that I really wish were here.

      Haha, I suppose you're right, not being able to open pics/gifs and expand them kinda bothers me.

          But afaik you cant expand the pictures directly in your feed, or can you? Like with RES you can open it without leaving the frontpage and then drag to resize the pic or gif. That would be awesome to have. As it is now I soon have a dozen tabs open...

            Exactly! That's one of the things I miss. If we can implement some RES-type features directly on snapzu it's even better.

            I don't see how to do that either. I opened the first picture in the post above yours and while I can see the image in-line, I can't close it or resize it.

    I completely agree with what you're saying. Reddit has a lot of great content but a lot of hassle that comes with it. The atmosphere here is so different! Welcome aboard! :)

    I don't know if was a RES exclusive option, but I really liked the setting that opened links in a new tab. That way I never lost track of what I was currently browsing.

    Guess I'll have to go back to middle-clicking like a caveman now. ugg

    I just wish I could expand images inline, like RES lets me do.

    One thing I miss is a magazine layout on tribe pages. On reddit with RES, I can switch to top sorting, load all images, and quickly consume the best of a subreddit by scrolling down endlessly.

    I thought that it was strange as well to have a huge protest and then everything go back to normal. But I agree I like what I see here and hope that it stays the same even with the influx.
