I came here from Reddit, but am slowly not visiting Reddit as much and trying to contribute to Snapzu. The smaller community is more attractive to me. I feel like, on this site, I can actually contribute and share interesting "things" I find online and share that knowledge with others.
On Reddit, I feel like even when I make comments in a thread, it gets buried by silly meme's or people trying to make some non-related comment just to get Karma votes. So far that isn't happening here.
All of the points and levels and achievements and "awards" make Snapzu more fun than Reddit for me also. /ramble
Thanks for the links! I'm probably going to stay on reddit as my main social media site, but I'm certainly going to stick around here as well. I can't wait to see how things go as word gets around about Snapzu, and the userbase grows! (Hopefully people will start more discussions, as the comments are looking pretty...dismal right now.)
They aren't actually that dismal really. The trick is to follow enough active people and they will lead you to the activity. Basically, the entire website right now is a small (~5000 subs) subreddit.
