Alright! Nice to see another European join or ranks, particularly a British person. I've never gotten to reach Manchester, not sure if you're a football-dude but I'm a fan of the United football team and I plan on watching one of their games on Old Trafford in the following years.
What else is there to say, I hope you have a great time here. I've decided to follow you and hope for some interesting posts upcoming. Oh yeah, and I love British humor, it usually has me in... stitches.
I am not a football fan I am afraid, and dudette by the way. I do live a 10 minute walk from Old Trafford though and it's a great atmosphere on match days.
This fascinates me. People use "cock" to address each other in a friendly way? Is it something like "Oyyy ya crazy cock"? Because I can't think of it as "I love you, you cock"!
think it derives from cocker, as in "alright cocker?" got shortened to cock somewhere along the way...as I say, not something I would say but a lot of older folks in Mancland do like to say it.
You're welcome. Pilfered... do you own a stash with all these unique words? Anyway, don't want to hog you on here just to have you talking to me. Nice meeting you ;)

The pleasure was mine. :)
I'm such an idiot for always assuming people I talk to are males. I'm so sorry. It's only natural that you don't care for football, then.
haha, no probs chook :) just as a note though, I have plenty of female friends obsessed with football....most of Manchester is!
I've never been called a chook before. Makes me think of a headless chicken flailing to its death.
It bloody should be! Sounds like my type of town.
ha, sorry - bad habit of using northern colloquialisms: chook, mate, chicken, duck, love. And the one I dont use...cock.

Sexy.
Hope it didn't get too uncomfortable talking about it.
I just noticed that it was one of my codes that brought you here. Yay. Guess we're related now. :)
yup, pilfered it. Thanks!
