    Channel 4 Dates Weinstein Scandal Doc

    The first major documentary about the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment scandal is set to air next week. Channel 4 is to air Working with Weinstein on February 20 at 10pm. The documentary explores Weinstein’s relationship with the UK film business and “meets people who worked with Weinstein across 30 years of British film and investigates how we kept his accusers quiet for decades”.

    Producer Jill Messick Dead of Suicide at 50; Family Blames Rose McGowan-Harvey Weinstein Fight

    Veteran studio executive and producer Jill Messick, the ex-manager of Rose McGowan who found herself caught in the fight between McGowan and Harvey Weinstein, has committed suicide. She was 50. Messick’s family said in a statement she was “broken” by seeing her name in the news surrounding McGowan’s accusation that Weinstein raped her. Last month, Weinstein’s team included a quote from her from last year that supported Weinstein’s argument that his involvement with McGowan was consensual.

The 52-year-old actor filed a lawsuit against the tabloid, its editor-in-chief Dylan Howard, and actor Dominick Brascia on Friday, in response to an Enquirer article published last month, which accused Sheen of raping Corey Haim on the set of the 1986 film, Lucas. Sheen is suing all defendants for defamation and false light, and is asking for an unlimited amount of monetary and punitive damages, recovery of his attorney's fees and a jury trial regarding the matter.
