When I was about 5, a new family moved in next door to me. They had a son about my age, and pretty quickly him and I became close friends. He had a clunky old cream-colored PC with one game: Need For Speed II. The day after I played it at his house for the first time I went home and bought the game for myself. I still play it from time to time.
