What games are you all playing though right now?

I'm currently playing through Earthbound for the first time ever. I can't believe it took me so long. Especially since Mother 3 s my personal favorite of all time. What are you all playing?

Witcher 3 fantastic fame so far!

      Pretty demanding on PC though.

I just finished it last night, and although the final act in particular feels a bit underdone, it's generally been a great experience. I've started Yoshi's Woolly World today, but that's enough of a tonal shift that I've decided to do a full replay of The Witcher series starting with 1 as well. Hoping to get everything done before Fallout 4 comes out.

I'm so excited for Wooly World! CAn't wait till it shows up in the US. Perfect co-op game for my sis and I.

I agree it is a fantastic game. I am also playing through the story, and I love it so far.

I've fallen into the Paradox hole, hard. I've been binging so hard on EU4 the past few weeks it's not even funny. I've already finished two full campaigns and England and Poland and am now working on a Russian one. Luckily in the past couple of days I've been feeling a little burnt out so it's somewhat subsiding.

Dragon Age: Inquisition. I can't believe I haven't played through the series until now. They're some really fun RPGs.

Oh gosh, hope you're enjoying it! DA:I was the only time I have played a 100 hour game and at the end immediately made a new character and started over. Mostly to stave off the depression of not being in Thedas anymore...

The amount of sidequests and size of the maps is a bit overwhelming, but it's a nice change from the past 2 games. It's also pretty much unplayable with a keyboard lol. I've played as a rouge in all 3 games so I might try playing as a mage once I beat it.

        • BoogaBooga
          +3

Mage is really fun, that was my first character. Normally I play as a warrior, but for Inquisition I found it easier to be kind of removed from the action to see what was going on. Plus, the spell casting animations are neat!

I am currently awaiting the next episode of Life is Strange.

Aside from that I've been playing the following lately:
    - Spec Ops: The Line
    - Shadowgate 2014 (which is a very nice remake of the original NES game of the same name)
    - Half-Life 2: Update (Half-Life 2 with much nicer graphics)
    - Bioshock 2

I'm considering doing another play through of the Mass Effect series soon as well.

I'm playing Terraria right now. They have updated the game again and with all the new content I had to just start all over. Easily the best 5 dollars I have ever spent.

I had played terreria before, but never got too into it. Trying it again with the update.

I really enjoyed Terraria but it does get a bit tedious after a while.

I had purchased it when it came out but never actually played it, writing it off as a minecraft clone. I just started playing it a couple days ago with my friend and it is so much fun! I definitely should have played it earlier.

Me too. According to Steam I hadn't played since 2011, so I think I missed both the 1.1 and 1.2 patches. So much new stuff! Gonna try and stick with it this time to at least get past the Wall of Flesh, but really I have the most fun just wandering around in caves and seeing what's there.

Well I hit grand master prestige on COD:AW this pas double XP weekend, something I've been grinding out for awhile now. I picked up Witcher 3 and it's fantastic so far.

After being an Xbox fan for years, I obtained a free ps3 the other day and have been hording games that I always wished I could play, so my backlog of games is a bit overwhelming.

    I am playing;

Cabal 2: The game is in its baby steps, has serious optimiation issues. Content is pretty dull at the moment, but I believe the game will improve. Overall it's looks promising, it can be a fun mmo that anyone can play in.

Tomb Raider: Just wonderous game, it's pretty immersive and enjoyable. Would really recommend.

Portal 2: I guess I shouldn't write down that much about it. Just play mate.

Dirty Bomb: Very very interesting game, it's fun at its best.

Mass Effect Trilogy. I replay it occassionaly. Currently working through ME2 as a renegade femshep. She's unstoppable!

Oh, and MCPE Creative when I just want to lay on my bed and be on my iPad.

I am absolutely in LOVE with the Mass Effect Trilogy! Renegade Femshep is the best shep! She's one of those people you never want to be up against. Yessh. You almost have to feel bad for the Reapers....Almost.

It's been quite the experience. This is the first time I have played as FemShep, it took awhile to get use to in ME1. I kept thinking Ashley was talking for a split second, then realize it was my character lol.

Hahaha! I can see that happening! Jennifer Hale did an excellent job voicing Femshep in the trilogy. It'll be strange to have a new Mass Effect without her.

I'm hoping she returns for Mass Effect: Andromeda, even if she isn't voicing the female main character. I have a feeling she will, since she has done other Bioware games as well.

That's a good point! There's certainly a good chance of that. There's also the possibility of little sound-bytes from Shepard popping up here and there...or maybe that's just wishful thinking. I'm still not ready to let go of Commander Shepard!

What have you thought of Andromeda so far? I'm really digging the direction they've decided to take the universe. Almost to dangerously high expectation levels. :P

I've been playing the crap out of a Sandbox MMO called Albion Online. Some people call it new age Ultima Online, some people compare it to Eve's ecosystem/sandboxiness, personally I hate to admit me never playing either of those this game is perfect. It's in alpha stages right now so the entry to play is high, but if you have any questions feel free to ask. It'll be available on PC/Linux/Mac/IOS and Android (that's awesome)

      How's the crafting/gathering system? Anything new/innovative?

Also, does it have a Bard/Minstrel/Dancer class?

I just finished Batman Arkham Knight on PS4, and it was amazing.

Up next on the chopping block: Life is Strange - Episode 3, The Witcher 2 (I know, I'm behind), and the occasional NHL 15.

Finally bought Kingdoms of Amalur during the Summer Sale. Only a few hours in, but I'm really digging it so far. Oh, and Goat Simulator - I think I put 5 hours on that the day I started it.

I'm playing Grey Goo right now. It's really hitting all the right spots for me. I've had an itch to play a new (non-Blizzard) RTS for years now, but I'd only found low-quality indie games until now. I'm not sure how viable it is competitively - class balance or meta or what-not, but the game itself is fun. Shame the multiplayer scene doesn't look too strong.

I finally got Cities: Skylines after drooling over it for quite some time now. Glad to say it really lived up to my hopes! Having never really played (or been interested in) a city builder, this one REALLY pulled me in. Also started working on the Dishonored DLC, as the main story was one of my favorite games (by far my favorite stealth based game ever) of 2012/2013. Figured with the release of the announcement trailer, I better soak up all I can out of one before it comes out.

Let me throw my list up.

First, The announcement of Fallout 4 has inspired me to have another run through Fallout: New Vegas, heavily modded out to feel more like how it should have felt. Project Nevada, among others.

I just recently finished The Witcher 3, and can't recommend it enough.

I recently downloaded Caves of Qud, and am giving that a go, with lets say varying degrees of catastrophic failure.

Aside from that I've my whole lineup of Paradox Interactive games that I follow religiously.

I was in the middle of playing Witcher 3 until I got sucked back into SWTOR. I'm currently taking advantage of the 12x EXP bonus to finish all of the class stories. Once I finish them up I intend to finish Witcher 3 and then play Batman Arkham Knight. Hopefully the Batman PC version is fixed by then!

I've just started Mount & Blade: Warband. The original Mount & Blade was pretty cool, but didn't hold my interest. I'd heard good things about this one, but it seems to be more of the same :(

My main game for the past few months has been CS:GO. Still need to get off my ass and get my last win needed for my rank. Besides that I've been poking around the Dota 2 Reborn Beta. Runs sweet but has a few annoying bug on the Linux version.

Saturday, I grabbed Axiom Verge, a very solid Metroidvania game, and today I'm playing Dust: An Elysian Tail.

I'm not going to shut up about Final Fantasy IX for a while, since I'm doing a replay for the game's 15 year anniversary!
