Laser device can detect alcohol in cars, report authors in Journal of Applied Remote Sensing
An external laser device that can detect the present of alcohol vapors in passing vehicles has been developed by researchers at the Institute of Optoelectronics of the Military University of Technology in Warsaw. A new open access article detailing the work appears in the latest issue of the Journal of Applied Remote Sensing, published by SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics.

One Dead in Drunken Ohio Golf Cart Crash
One man is dead after a driver overturned his golf cart during a drunken joy ride this morning in Chester Township, Ohio. According to WOIO, the Ohio Highway State Patrol said the crash occurred at 1:14 a.m. after 42-year-old Craig L. Franks drove his E-Z Go Golf Cart over an embankment, causing it to overturn.
