Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes...

“We need to make books cool again. If you go home with somebody and they don't have books, don't fuck them.” ― John Waters

To be honest, I really don't think I could be attracted to someone who didn't (or refused) to read. Sure, physical attributes are nice, but at the end of the day, personality (and with what words you happen to wallpaper your soul with), will always win.

Contrast with Homo unius libri. The only thing more terrifying than someone who doesn't read would be someone who only reads one thing. Same answer, I think.

I envy the Homo unius libri; there are times when I wish that I didn't feel the obligated to read anymore as a result of finding one book or set of books that resonate deeply with me. I have read books that I liked, but none felt like something that I'd want to re-read constantly.

Unfortunately I've allowed philosophy to taint my mind, so now I'll never live the life of a simple man!
