I had a buddy get something similar and I have to say, over a span of a year or so, the speed difference (gain) pays for itself. I was shocked at how much extra juice this baby was able to milk. He had a 60 megabit connection that was being tested at 42.4 megabit on speedtest.net like 5-6 times as we were testing the wifi speeds across the house. Once we hooked this thing up, he was doing 69.8 megabit steady on dual 5g bands. I don't even know how this thing was able to circumvent the speed limit the provider sets, but its definitely awesome to get MORE than you pay for :D
A $500 router. But then I look at it and then I don't feel ashamed anymore.
