A lion with the "personality" of a dog. It would be super sweet to you, but if someone messes with you, they have a fucking lion to deal with. I feel like burglaries would happen much less often.
On the other hand, fights at the lion-dog park would be incredibly hard to break up. Also, any accidents in the house would be a much larger ordeal to address.
I was going to say a similar thing but for me it would be a bear with a dogs temperament, specifically my dog's temperament. My dog love to come and cuddle with me when I'm in bed, despite being a large dog (dalmatian cross boerboel) . I think it would be awesome to cuddle with a pet bear in the same way. Would also be an epic guard Haha :P
