I've been wanting a new DSLR for awhile now. The end of this summer or this fall I will finally have enough saved up for me to get a quality camera. It's been almost 8 years with my old one and I am pumped to try out something new. Now I'll have that old excitement of being scared of getting it dirty or dropping it while I'm out in the field.
That feeling when you're carrying your new tech stuff or glasses around, sheathing out the good old eyeglass tissue to wipe off the tiny spec of dust that was molesting your new acquisition!
Lol you describe it perfectly. The worst is the first time feeling of taking new equipment out in the kayak. Just doing things I've done thousands of times before like changing out lenses has to be done with super care. Make sure everything not in use is in the dry bag. With my old stuff I just don't worry about it as much because I would have loved to have the excuse to buy new equipment.
