Disclaimer: Not meaning to be offensive toward art, just sharing.

I really don't understand most paintings so I can't really say. I went to the MET several months ago and walked through an exhibit that had a lot of Picasso and other stuff and I just had no appreciation for it whatsoever. I don't get how things are chosen to be "good." I thought it was all boring, bad, and uninteresting. I often see "amateur" paintings that are interesting, but a lot of the hoity toity types of work I don't get at all.
