You're home alone and your house is on fire. You have time to grab only one item before it collapses. What do you grab?

Literally. Although I'm sure it would be a completely free replacement.

We have a large photo journal of the family. I would grab that before anything else. Kinda sappy but those pictures were taken before digital cameras and are nowhere online so I could not get them back.

Probably the folder that has passports, birth certificates, car titles, house deed, and a few other important papers.

That's what I was thinking. I have a plastic container filled with paperwork as well as backup hard disks full of photos, digital documents, art, etc. So if that's generally considered as one "item" under 50 lb... I would grab that for sure.

I would say that counts as one item. Mine is just a big manila envelope, so I'm fairly certain it counts.

Assuming my wallet is already in my pocket to begin with, I would grab my laptop probably.
