Not exactly the same, but have you seen latest news on the 'physical web'? https://google.github.io/physical-web/ I think that will prove more user friendly and accessible to most people. I agree with @FivesandSevens that VR could be quite isolating, I work for a recruitment company who may consider using VR for interview scenarios... but it goes against our key selling point which is that you get a job through a personal service rather than sending a CV into the ether of job boards. I am really interested to see how well it does though so I hope they go for it!
