I would tolerate non intrusive adds if they were needed because I like this site. Meh it has more to do with you people than anything else. I enjoy the civil, yet insightful, conversations and overall pleasantness of you guys and gals.
In all honesty?
There is only one site where I disable my add block. Why? because the add revenues help pay for all the amazon gift cards I get from them. They have other cards but I stick with amazon. Technically they're paying me to watch these adds so I let my hatred of adds slide.
My default is to run add blocks at all times.
