    Washing dishes. We had a big family living in one house so there was a lot of them to be washed.

      I was going to say this as well and I don't come from a big family. Thank god for the dishwasher otherwise I don't think I would ever see my sink again.

        I don't come from a big family either, but even my own dishes are such a pain. Everything else seems like it can be done relatively on my own schedule, but dishes need to be take care of within a time limit or they become an even bigger pain. I don't have a dishwasher either so it's even worse having to scrub it and get my hands (and sometimes shirt, I don't even know how) all wet.

      Same. As a kid, I hated it. Today though, I'd rather do the dishes than vacuum or laundry, even though my SO is notoriously bad at taking a dish, glass, container,etc to another room and leaving it there for me to find after I've already started the dishwasher...
