I've been very into "epic and dramatic" music recently - music used for television shows or theatre trailers, etc. Examples include:
- The "Oblivion" soundtrack by M83
- Everything by Ruelle (a band I'm pretty sure is just making music for the sake of licensing it out for shows and trailers - I don't even mind!)
- The "Insurgent" soundtrack (not coincidentally "Holes In the Sky" by M83 is my favourite)
- Banks, Tove Lo, of Verona - all very atmospheric, dramatic music
