I did come from reddit. I'd been getting more and more dissatisfied/disinterested for a while, everything was getting so predictable, even in my smaller subreddits. I was probably downvoting as many posts as I was upvoting, just because it was the same old shit as always.
Then during /r/fatpeoplehate vs Ellen Pao vs Victoria people were asking about alternatives to reddit. Voat's biggest draw was it's commitment to free speech, which meant that's where all the fat people haters were, but Snapzu seemed to be more about encouraging community involvement. So I came here. But I needed an invite code, so I found one on a snapzu subreddit, and here I am!
