Brigading and the Hive Mind was becoming more of an influence in the subs I frequented, even some of the more obscure ones. I had been looking for an alternative for quite a while, the few that I found were either pale imitations of Reddit or so politically oriented that they weren't worth the time I wasted checking them out. Once I joined here I've had no reason to go back to Reddit.
