    Did your dad grow up in the Netherlands? In the Netherlands you get taught Dutch, German, French, and English in middle school. Dutch and English of those are required, and German and French are required for 3 years.

      Very good! He was born in the states but spent some of his schooling years in Belgium.

        Cool! I am Dutch myself so that's why I thought he grew up here. :p
