    I used to work at the computer help desk at my university. While on the phone with a staff member troubleshooting why his machine wasn't being connected to the wireless, I needed him to wait for the first connection attempt to fail so he could set his password. Instead, I told him "You need to fail first, then we can reset it." The other help desk staffers cracked up laughing. I eventually had to go help him connect his machine. I had to call back to the help desk to get someone to reset his password for me, the help desk specialist (who was already a little special with his humor) set it to "Wunderflarg!". I gave this to the user, and offered to show him how to reset it, but he thought it was so funny he kept it.

    Once i got back, someone ended up calling me Wunderflarg, and the nickname stuck. I just kind of rolled with it.
