I always say 'like' but in my defence - everyone from my home county does...am also trying to stop saying 'd'you know what I mean?' after every other sentence.

As an aside, is the N word seen as a curse word? I'd say it was an ethnic slur rather than swearing....Just like the other you mentioned is a homophobic slur....maybe seen differently here in the UK though....
