A pheasant. Some guy around here grows them for hunting, and they are everywhere.
So I was driving to work one morning. I drove up this small hill going 43 mph, and didn't see what was behind the hill. As I got to the top I saw that there were two male pheasants on the road ahead. The other one, already having been hit by a car, was quite dead. The other one stood next to it, I guess trying to figure out what was up with his friend, why was he sleeping there. Then the pheasant saw my car approaching. It stared at me. I pressed my brakes. It countinued to stare at me. I continued to brake. It realized that it should probably fl-THUMP! The pheasant was on my windshield.
I was late from work, because I had to move the already dead one out of the road so that no other stupid birds could come to marvel at it and get themself killed. I didn't find the bird that I drove over. I guess it survived?

Whats up with those birds being so freaking stupid? I've almost driven over so many pheasants. I always have to actually stop my car in front of those stupid birds and wait for them to figure out their stuff and waddle out of the way.
