Near future science fiction technothriller. It's about a woman in 2025 who can't remember the last decade trying to get by in a shattered economy with no resources or work history. Then people start trying to kill her.

Sounds exciting! Is it kinda cyberpunk?

Corporate personhood, ubiquitous computing, handheld devices that basically do everything, social media, advanced prosthesis... we pretty much hit "cyberpunk" a few years ago! :)

I wrote the novel using best-guess and most-likely scenarios of the near future regarding stuff like automation, medical technology, augmented reality, AI-based apps, and 3D printing, as well as climate change, unemployment, and drone-surveillance, so a lot of it is pretty cyberpunk, though without the 80s aesthetic. Maybe closer to Strange Days than Blade Runner. Technoshock and cultureshock play big roles.
