I went on a kind of 'tour' with my family a number of years back. Went to France. Drove around for hours every third day or so to stay for a day or more in a different city or town. It was quite interesting, despite me not knowing the language. Good food, good towns, nice (enough) people...
Even though I went to a solid number of places with my family, it was the trips to Europe and France that I enjoyed most. Followed closely by those to Colorado.
