The follow function is meant to customize your feed with the member activity you would like to see. So follow the people that you feel post items that are generally of interest to you and your feed will be filled with interesting content that appeals to you. You also have the power to customize your home feed in anyway you want using the cog wheel icon located on the top right of your feed area. Okay, I think I've got it. It's going to take a little doing on my part to get used to paying attention to the home feed over the front page. Would there be a way to make the home feed be a toggled pane on the front page so one doesn't have to split their attention between both? I know this should probably go in the suggestions tribe (as well as my friend /u/IanfaceMcGee's idea of calling the mobile app Appzu), but this also seems a relevant place to do so as the topic has arisen.
E: I also just thought that maybe having a limited number of tag searches in your feed to find users that post stuff you're interested in to further organically grow and make your home feed more specific to your interests might be nice. More Tag Slots could be added with subsequent level increases like Tribe Submits and Follow Slots.
