+14 +2A day at the workshop
In my paint-workshop (and household) open source software rules and eases the dreaded life as an artist. This little text is not meant to complain, but merely a small oversight of what software is actually used in said workshop. And, thanks to an economic crisis and corona, I have the time to doodle about it.

+26 +4Sweet present
I am an active open source person by promoting and installing open source software on people's computers. For years actually and hardly any complaints. Then a birthday present arrives... :-) A nice letter, a Tux-sticker, a Tux-balloon and a 16 GB Tux-usb-stick (for those handy tools and software to take with me while helping people). :-)

With Plasma 5.4.2 out the door, it’s time to look ahead at what Plasma 5.5 will bring to a Desktop near you. Even though we’ve gone mobile, we won’t neglect traditional Desktops. In the upcoming release, I took care of the little things, as well as bringing back specialized tools that haven’t been a priority for the initial releases.

+2 +1Is There Such a Thing as Too Many GNU/Linux Distributions?
Softpedia lists about 2,000 Linux kernel-based OSes. I think it's time to clarify the matter of "too many Linux distributions" once and for all. For a Linux veteran like myself, it is getting annoying to see all sorts of comments on the Internet from people complaining that there are way too many distributions of Linux.
