Semi with brakes tied together with plastic grocery bag crashes on interstate
The State Patrol believes faulty brakes and speeding caused a semi truck to crash on the State Route 16 interchange with northbound Interstate 5 in Tacoma Tuesday night. Troopers said the truck was headed eastbound on State Route 16 around 10:00 p.m. when it rolled on the ramp to northbound I-5. The State Patrol photo tweeted a photo from the scene which showed the truck's brake lines tied together with a plastic grocery bag.
