9 years ago+6 6 0Option for less polished, but more lightweight Design
While I really like Snapzus design, I currently only have a very slow internet connection. I would really apreciate an option that lets you switch off banners, profile pics and other teraffic-heavy gimmicks that are not actually essential to the Snapzu experience.
Im my humble opinion, an ugly site that loads is still more fun than a fabulous site that doesn't load at all. Also, when Snapzu's servers are under heavy load, more users would switch to the ugly, lightweitght version of Snapzu, therefore automatically reducing the load on the Snapzu-Servers.

9 years ago+4 4 0Now that cryoconservation is slowly becoming availible to the average woman: Would you do it?
Companies like Google, Apple or Facebook offer to carry the cost of freezing their employees eggs. I think it is only a motter of time until this becomes cheap enought for middle class women. While some people have moral objections, I would absolutly do it! I'd love to hear some other opinions on this.
Bonus Question: Do we need new legislation regarding cryoconservation? Should goverments have any say?

9 years ago+5 5 0I'm a new user, but I don't care about the reddit drama. It would be really cool if Snapzu would allow to filter out certain topics.
I understand that some people are very frustrated about the latest reddit-drama, but at the moment this overshadows all other content on Snapzu.
I'd love to be able to filter all this stuff. Snapzu is kinda worthless as a reddit-alternative if all it talks about ist reddit.
EDIT: So far I have gotten tips on how to find good tribes -- but what would really interest me is a funktion to filter content within a trinbe.

9 years ago+4 4 0Women who study a STEM-Subject or work in the stem field, I need your advice: What can I do when people assume I am a noob/have no idea what I am talking about?
I study computer science, and when I talk to male students, they sometimes(luckily this is not the norm) start explaining every "techy" word I just used or act as if they were talking to a clueless outsider. This doensn't seem to happen to guys, or a least not as frequently.
This also never happens when i talk to fellow female compsci-students. What can I do to subtly let them know that I'm actually well informed about a subject/not a noob? I really don't want to start any major drama/alienate otherwise really nice guys.
